Yesterday, while walking my dog, I saw a sad, lonely-looking woman sitting on her front porch. When she raised her head, I smiled. Her face lit up, and she silently smiled at me. It reminded me of today’s Thursday Thought quote:

Did you see the story about Arianna Letterman? She ran the Dallas Marathon. In a different race on the same course she saw a woman close to the finish line in obvious physical trouble.
