Because Cinco de Mayo is a bigger celebration in the U.S. than in Mexico (no, it isn’t Mexican Independence Day), today’s Thursday Thought celebrates the meaning of this day:
I was going to lie to you and say that I decided to give my Friday readers a taste of my Thursday Thoughts. Truth is, I lost a day. Here, then, on Friday–thanks to Pope Francis–is my offering of a something-to-consider Thursday Thought:

President Ronald Reagan mourned the loss of our Challenger brothers and sister, then told us how to honor them:
