The economy will continue to improve whether Obama or Romney wins. That’s what the economists are saying. Supposedly, the economy is cyclical. Looking into history and the periods after Presidential elections, these experts report that, each time, the economy continued in the direction it was going before the election. (However, I remember when it plunged over the years a certain person was President.)
I’m happy to hear this, of course, since the economy has been inching UP rather than down or remaining stagnant. What I’m NOT happy about is sitting through all those political arguments insisting that a vote for Mr. X insures recovery while a vote for Mr. Y means economic disaster. What a waste of my listening time!
