There’s lots of affordable housing in the area, and more being built. The problem is, some people’s definition of “affordable” isn’t realistic.

Why do you think so many seniors opt to live in cheaper areas? I’ve been in my current apartment almost 2 years; the rent is too high, but I like the area. I’m just praying that it doesn’t go up in June and price me out of living here!

There needs to be so much more affordable housing available all over the Bay Area!
