I like the last part of what you say best. Many kids don’t learn to consider their audience; therefore, they think a specific behavior is good no matter where they are, who they’re with, and what the occasion is. Many have been on the receiving end of booo-ing and have forgotten how demeaning and bad it felt. Go to kids’ games at school or in leagues and there are parents who encourage boo-ing–not the best role models. These same parents don’t curb their colorful language or spare the insults, either, essentially training their kids that it’s okay to insult and demean others. When these kids get to college, their excuse is that it’s “all in good fun”–but fun at the expense of others…?

To me it shows a strong lack of families and parents teaching the children how to act in public. All in the name of being nice! Children need to learn the difference between right and wrong, the right and wrong place to act out!
