The morning news people made it sound as though Congress heard and responded to all the people (constituents) who were complaining. We aren’t being listened to on other subjects (e.g., firearms), so why should I believe that this is true? No, I think you’re right, that they were inconvenienced. I think, too, that big business–the voice they DO listen to–yelled long and loud.
